Cascadia Scenario from California Geological Survey

In 1995 the-then California Division of Mines and Geology worked with the north coast community to develop a planning scenario for a subduction zone event.  This was one of 9 scenarios CGS has developed over 25 years. This one focuses on the proposed effects of a large subduction zone earthquake and the damage caused by shaking and a possible tsunami.
